Helichrysum or Everlast, is a tiny yellow straw flower from the Mediteranean.  Known for giving off the appearance of being alive long after it is completely dried, it's been used as a precious oil for centuries to heal sunburns, scarring, and for it's anti-aging benefits.  Believed to be the,"flower that never fades," Everlast had properties that would benefit those who were looking to become as ageless has it's vibrant sun colored flowers.  It was the French who called the flower Immortelle, and ultimately capitalized on it's abilities to renew and regenerate.  In fact, renewal and regeneration are exactly what we were after when we thought to add this amazing ingredient to a special, limited edition candle, just in time for the new year. 

While we can appreciate the cosmetic uses of Everlast, what we're really interested in at Aloha Elixir are this magical little flower's spiritual uses, and ultimately why we added it to our new Fire Elixir, New Beginnings.  Immortelle flower essence opens the doors of perception, allowing us to see ourselves and our lives in a new, fresh way, thus greatly enhancing creative flow.
