Achieving your New Year’s Intentions in 5 Simple Steps
Happy New Year!
With 2017 now upon us many of us are busy thinking about our intentions for the coming year. I have many clients come to me for recommendations on how they can best reach their goals.
My tips for achieving New Year’s intentions is simply not to get overwhelmed and take things day by day. Just like climbing a ladder, the top is reached step by step. If your resolution is to move into a new home, set aside some time every day to plan your move by taking 20 minutes to search for a new house or condo. Remember that things may not happen on our timeline, but the belief that it will eventually occur helps to fuel the motivation to get there.
Ready to climb the ladder into 2017? Here are my steps to intention success:
Remember that goals are easier to achieve when you have a plan in place! No matter how big or small your intention is, never stop believing that you can achieve it. If you’re looking for some help, be sure to check out our line of Aloha Elixir products to help you on your journey.
Wishing you the best of luck in 2017!
It’s easy to make someone else’s day merry and bright simply by being present during this busy time of year. Little things such as holding a door open for someone or signaling “thank you” when you merge in traffic are just a few of ways to remain in the spirit long after you take down the last ornament from the tree.
Whether we are home for the holidays or are away from loved ones, there are still many ways big – and small -- to spread holiday cheer. Here are five intentions to set for ourselves and others during this most wonderful time of year.
It seems silly but it typically takes something ending – in this case the calendar year – for us to reflect on the many blessings in our lives.
Being thankful for all that we have in life is a common theme of the holidays, but expressing gratitude should be a year-round practice. We are often consumed by planning and preparing for what lies ahead, or focusing on all that we don’t have or what goes wrong, that we forget to appreciate the simple things in life. Like the clean sheets you sleep in, a simple meal on the table and friends and family to enjoy it with.
The practice of being grateful has been connected with living a long life and also contributes to the well-being of those around you. As we head into 2017, focus on appreciating all that you have and try to weave this practice into your daily routine.
Here are some of our favorite ways to express gratitude. You’ll be thankful you did!

Crystal Clear Smudge Stick Variety Pack
Palo Santo - Use this Holy Wood as incense, or to cleanse people and spaces of lower energies.
Cedar - The medicine of protection. Cedar trees are very old, wise and powerful spirits.
White Sage - Is considered a sacred, cleansing, purifying, and protective plant.
Blue Sage – Known as “Grandmother Sage," provides spiritual strength, and is sometimes used during exorcism rituals. Quartz Crystal provides positive energy, balance and clarity.
Now, relax & raise your vibration. Choose the stick you feel most drawn to. Ignite one end of your Smudging Stick with a candle and let it burn for approx. 30 sec. Blow the flame out, and rest the stick on a fireproof dish. The stick will smolder for a few minutes. Relight as necessary. For best results, use with our Crystal Clear intention candle.
Crystal Clear Salt - Place crystals and stones in need of cleansing and repair into the salt for up to three days. This removes and clears any lower energies that the crystals may have accumulated while doing their work for you. Use as often as necessary to cleanse and re-energize them after arduous healing work. This proprietary blend of salts will also help repair and heal crystals that have sustained minor damage. You can also prepare a cleansing bath for your crystals by adding Crystal Clear salt to water. There should be enough salt added that the mixture mimics clean ocean water. Crystal Clear can also be added to your personal bath water as a soak when you need re-energizing or wish to remove lower energies from your person and raise your vibration.
Crystal Clear Spray- Containing sacred ti leaf, 'olena, palo santo and pa'akai, this convenient spray is the perfect solution for those that need a smokeless smudge option. The folks at Aloha Elixir like to say, “It's like white light in a bottle.” Spritz this sacred mist into the air when you need to clear yourself or a space after energy or bodywork, during stressful situations, or for peace of mind and protection.
Crystal Clear Candle - Great for use in the home as an alternative to traditional smudging, the Crystal Clear candle contains five different kinds of quartz crystals. Pure and unscented, simply write your intention on the candle to program it with your request and create a clear and sacred space anywhere you choose.
